We’re excited to share that Derapi was one of 15 companies selected to participate in the Google for Startups Energy cohort, a 10-week program designed to help energy and climate startups scale with confidence.
Throughout the program, we worked closely with Google team members across engineering, product, marketing, and operations, gaining access to technical resources and hands-on support from Google’s Energy group. The focus wasn’t just on growth, it was on strengthening the foundations that enable companies to move faster without sacrificing reliability.
The cohort also created space for collaboration with other founders tackling complex challenges across the energy ecosystem. During the program, we had the opportunity to attend Colorado Startup Week, where we presented at one of the main energy-focused events and engaged with operators, investors, and fellow builders shaping what comes next.
The program culminated in a Demo Day in San Francisco, where all 15 cohort companies presented to an audience of more than 100 investors and industry leaders. It was a meaningful moment to reflect on how far each company had come, and how much opportunity lies ahead.
You can watch the full Demo Day stream here.
We’re grateful to the Google for Startups team and the Energy cohort partners for the support, insight, and collaboration throughout the program. The experience has helped sharpen our focus as we continue building the connective infrastructure that makes distributed energy easier to scale.
